THz frequencies, ranging from 0.1 to 10 THz, offer unique advantages and challenges compared to conventional communication bands, making them an exciting area of investigation.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Bandwidth Exploration: <\/b>THz frequencies offer vast bandwidths for ultra-high-speed data transmission. We research methods to exploit this for unprecedented data rates, enabling applications like ultra-HD video streaming and real-time VR.<\/li>\n<li><b>Antenna Design: <\/b>We focus on compact, efficient antennas for terahertz communication. With shorter wavelengths than microwaves, innovative designs are crucial for high gain and directional radiation. We explore metamaterials, dielectric resonators, and phased arrays.<\/li>\n<li><b>Propagation Challenges: <\/b>THz waves face absorption, scattering, and dispersion, limiting range and signal quality. We work on techniques like adaptive beamforming and relay-assisted communication to address these challenges.
