We will welcome <strong>Pr. <span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">Muhammad Shahid Basheer<\/span><\/strong><b data-ogsc=\"\">, Assistant Professor of Materials Physics at the Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology, Islamabad, Pakistan<span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><b><span lang=\"EN-US\">Abstract:<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<div data-ogsc=\"black\" data-ogsb=\"rgb(255, 255, 255)\" data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">L\u2019ordre translationnel \u00e0 longue port\u00e9e est interdit dans les syst\u00e8mes de faible dimension avec des interactions \u00e0 courte port\u00e9e : les phases solides ne peuvent poss\u00e9der qu\u2019un ordre translationnel \u00e0 quasi-longue port\u00e9e, tout en conservant un ordre orientational \u00e0 longue port\u00e9e. Le sch\u00e9ma standard stipule que la transition de fusion se produit en deux \u00e9tapes : une phase interm\u00e9diaire, caract\u00e9ris\u00e9e par un ordre orientational \u00e0 quasi-longue port\u00e9e, est atteinte par le d\u00e9tachement des dislocations, tandis que la transition vers le liquide est d\u00e9clench\u00e9e par le d\u00e9tachement des disclinations.<br \/>\nDans cette pr\u00e9sentation, ces questions seront revisit\u00e9es et leur analyse sera \u00e9tendue aux syst\u00e8mes de particules auto-propuls\u00e9es \u2014 constituants de la mati\u00e8re active, un nouveau type de mati\u00e8re molle pertinent pour d\u00e9crire de nombreux ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes biologiques. La dynamique au travers des diff\u00e9rentes transitions de phase sera \u00e9galement bri\u00e8vement discut\u00e9e. Un nouveau sc\u00e9nario \u00e9merge de vastes \u00e9tudes par simulations mol\u00e9culaires.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Biography:<\/strong><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Dr. Leticia Cugliandolo is a Physics Professor at Sorbonne University in Paris, France and affiliated to Theoretical and High Energy Physics Laboratory (LPTHE) in Paris.<br \/>\nHer scientific works span statistical physics and non-equilibrium dynamics and particularly\u00a0active Brownian particles,\u00a0quench dynamics in integrable models,\u00a0order by disorder in phases,\u00a0path-integral formalism, and\u00a0metastability\/nucleation phenomena.
